Imported from Japan and the Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan (Tokyo Sumo Arena).
Be reminded of your favorite wrestler with a print of a brightly colored red handprint and black autograph, also known as a Tegata. A Tegata is a traditional way of sharing a wrestler's autograph with his supporters. Only wrestlers in the upper two divisions are allowed to produce them.
Each Tegata is printed on a white sheet of paper backed by a firm paperboard with a very small (1/16") gold colored border. The red border in some images is just background color for contrast.
Dimensions of the Tegata are 9.5" w x 10.75" h. Please note that these Tegata, though attractive, are copies and not original handprints/autographs. These copies are actually from Japan and are the same sold at the tournament venues. Originals cost many times more, if you could find an authentic one. We now carry some authenticated original Tegata.
Will add more wrestler's Tegata as they become available. However, the Japan Sumo Association does not make tegata for very many different wrestlers so we can only offer the ones available from the Kokugikan.
Wrestlers marked as "Retired" will no longer be available after current inventory runs out. Get them while they last.
