Official 2021 Japan Sumo Association Calendar

The Official 2021 Japan Sumo Association Calendar has arrived.  It has 14 pages with one image per monthly page.  It has pictures of wrestlers based on the September 2020 rankings including all top division (makuuchi) and second division (juryo) wrestlers.  The calendar is 15.5" wide by 12" h when not open.  When open it is 15.5" w x 24" h.  The paper used is thick and the images are very high quality.  It has a hole punched in the pages for hanging or use one of our attractive magnetic hangers (not included with calendar).    

Consider a 2021 Sumo Calendar as a gift for your favorite SUMO fanatic. 

Cover = Pictures of Yokozuna Hakuho and Kakuryu performing their dohyo-iri.  The Japanese text in the center, 大相撲, says Grand Champion Sumo.  The text on the right edge says 3rd Year of Reiwa era which is 2021.

January = Sanyaku wrestlers on the Dohyo

February = Images of Hakuho.

March = Top Division wrestlers around the dohyo.

April = Images of Kakuryu.

May = Pictures of Shodai, Mitakeumi, Daeisho, Okinoumi, Endo, Terunofuji, Takanosho, Hokutofuji, Tamawashi, and Myogiryu.

June = Asanoyama and Takakeisho.

July = 14 wrestlers from ranks M2 through M10 including Tochinoshin, Enho, Aoiyama.

August = Pictures of Sekiwake Shodai, Mitakeumi, Daieisho and Komusubi Okinoumi and Endo.

September = 14 pictures of wrestlers from M10 to M17 including Kaisei, Tobizaru, Hoshoryu, and Ichinojo.

October = Images of Hakuho, Kakuryu, Asanoyama, and Takakeisho.

November =  Top 14 Juryo wrestlers: Ikioi, Nishikigi, Kotoyuki, Kotonowaka, Wakamotoharu, Chiyomaru, Chiyoshoma, Daiamami, Daishomaru, Kyokushuho, Chiyonoo, Akua, Churanoumi, and Azumaryu along with a picture of Mascot Yellow Bird.

December = Bottom 14 Jury wrestlers along with a picture of Mascot Red Bird.

Page 13/14 = Gyoji and Yobidashi in uniform.
