The Official 2025 Japan Sumo Association Calendar is similar in size and number of pages as the 2024 Sumo calendar. The calendar is 15.5" wide by 12" h when not open. When open it is 15.5" w x 24" h. It has 14 pages with one page per month featuring photos of the top 2 division wrestlers (Makuuchi and Juryo) mostly from the September 2024 tournament. We say "mostly" because they include Onosato with his Ozeki promotion in the higher ranked photos while completely removing the retired wrestlers Takakeisho, Myogiryu, and Aoiyama.
The calendar cover displays the year 2025 along with photos of the original Ryogoku Kokugikan (top photo) while the bottom photo is the current Kokugikan.
The first page has a photo of a dohyo and a listing of all Heya names along with their Oyakata's name in Japanese.
January has photos of Yokozuna Terunofuji and Ozeki Hoshoryu, Kotozakura, and Onosato in formal robes.
February has a photo of Terunofuji in his dojo-iri stance.
March shows Terunofuji and Kotozakura in mawashi at various bouts (tournament and jungyo).
April has photos of Ozeki Hoshoryu, Kotozakura, and Onosato in kesho-mawashi.
May shows Hoshoryu and Onosato in mawashi in various bouts.
June has photos of Daieisho, Kirishima, Abi, and Hiradoumi in kesho-mawashi.
July shows Abi and Kirishima in mawashi in various bouts.
August shows Daieisho and Hiradoumi in mawashi in various bouts.
September, October, and November have photos of all Maegashira in kesho-mawashi.
December has photos of all Juryo in kesho-mawashi.
All wrestler names are listed in both Japanese an English.

We are also offering a set of large, one page posters. One poster is a 2025 Calendar and the other is a November 2024 Tournament Promotional Poster. Both posters in the set come folded with unfolded dimensions of 20.5" wide by 28.5" high. The Calendar Poster has a listing of all 73 Yokozuna at the top and all 12 months below with the sumo tournament dates highlighted. You can also find ticket release dates, banzuke release dates, and tournament dates in the chart at the bottom. The November Tournament Poster shows the November locaton and starting and ending dates. Only a few of these are available.
