Now you can sport one of the official Japan Sumo Association mascots on a T-Shirt or socks.
The yellow mascot is Yellow Bird. His Japanese name is Hiyonoyama (which translates to Chick Mountain). Yellow Bird is the mascot that you will see most often in Japanese Sumo promotions and at promotional events. Yellow Bird's main rival is the Red Bird, Akawashi (which translates to Red Eagle).
The Yellow Bird socks have his name, ひよの山 (Hiyonoyama), in Japanese on the bottom of each sock.
These brightly colored T-shirts are 100% light-weight cotton. Socks are a cotton-polyester blend and very thin.
