Authentic Japan Postal Service issued stamps with various Sumo images. Two different sets to choose from. Both are brightly colored. What a great addition to your stamp collection or as a Sumo decoration.
The first set is a sheet of 10 ¥84 stamps with Ukiyo-e style sumo wrestlers and bouts. In addition, some of the stamps have extra imagery to each side to broaden the image of the stamp.
The second set is a sheet of 10 ¥63 stamps with more modern imagery showing wrestler dohyo-iri poses and winning technique examples.
The ¥84 sheet is 7.4 inches wide by 5 inches high. The ¥63 sheet is 7.4 inches wide by 2.6 inches high. These are self adhesive style and likely only usable in Japan. The actual stamps do not have double black lines through the denomination. This technique is used to prevent counterfitting.
