These cuddly, plush animals are Japan Sumo's official mascots and imported from Tokyo. One is Yellow Bird. His Japanese name is Hiyonoyama (which translates to Chick Mountain). Yellow Bird is the mascot that you will see most often in Japanese Sumo promotions and at promotional events. Yellow Bird's main rival is the Red Bird, Akawashi (which translates to Red Eagle).
The smaller mascots (with a keychain) are about 5 inches tall and about 3.3 inches wide. They are made of a soft Polyester material. The large mascot is about 11 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. The large Yellow Bird has his name on the bottom of his left foot.
Please note that these plush mascots are intended for those 6 years old and over as stated in Japanese on the package.
