Imported from Japan. This is the Official Banzuke (roster and ranking of wrestlers) for the May 2023 Grand Sumo Tournament held at the Kokugikan in Tokyo.
This tournament was won by Terunofuji (his 8th). Gonoyama won his 1st Juryo championship. Kiribayama's win record positioned him for promotion to Ozeki after the tournament.
The sole Yokozuna listed on this Banzuke is Terunofuji.
The sole Ozeki is Takakeisho.
Sekiwake are Kiribayama, Hoshoryu, Daieisho, and newly promoted Wakamotoharu.
Komusubi are Kotonowaka, Wakatakakage, and Shodai.

This Banzuke has NOT been folded. It will be shipped in a tube so perfect for framing as it is an attractive work of art. The Banzuke is printed on very thin but firm paper.
