This tournament was won by Wakatakakage and is his first Championship.
The sole Yokozuna listed on this Banzuke is Terunofuji.
Ozeki are Shodai, Takakeisho, and the newly promoted Mitakeumi.
Sekiwake are Wakatakakage and Abi. This is the highest rank ever for both of these wrestlers.
Komusubi are Takanosho and first time sanyaku wrestler Hoshoryu.
