This is the Banzuke (roster and ranking of wrestlers) sold at the Ryogoku Kokugikan (Tokyo's Sumo Arena) for the May 2018 Grand Sumo Tournament (basho). Kakuryu won the basho for his 5th championship win. Tochinoshin came in second.but had enough wins to get promoted to Ozeki for the July tournament. Onosho won his 1st Juryo championship. Wakatakkage's first tournament in Juryo.
The Yokozuna listed on this Banzuke are Kakuryu, Hakuho, and Kisenosato.
This Banzuke has NOT been folded like others. It will be shipped in a tube so perfect for framing as it is an attractive work of art. The Banzuke is printed on very thin but firm paper.
